On April 27, 2012, during the Newport to Ensenada Race, the Hunter 376 Aegean sailed into North Coronado Island at night. All four sailors aboard were lost.
This video does not assign blame. Instead, it looks carefully and respectfully at what is known from the U.S. Coast Guard and US Sailing investigations, the GPS track data, the race context, and the design characteristics of the boat involved.
