This is an stimate.
The hatch rim is thicker so 50% more force is needed because of that.
There is also friction in the system so mere force is needed
The straps do not pull straight down also that reduces the force so more force is needed.
I am 82 years old and not as strong as before but I can use much more force if needed.
The experiment continues a better way with the strap is on its way.
