Ep36 To Malaga
With a good weather window, we leave Gibraltar just before there is a thunder storm. As we are leaving we can see the clouds growing over the top of the rock. Getting in to Fuengirola later on in the afternoon we have a bit of a swell running which makes for a unconfutable night. In the morning we are all up and ready to leave and find somewhere that is not making Rhumor move around like she is on a mad roller coaster. We had seen a place that was going to be made in to a marina but was empty at the time we were there and it was a great place to rest and get ready for the next part of our trip. Malaga has a marina but we could not get in touch with them. So finding this empty marina was great for us. We had two thunderstorms and some strong winds but the (non)marina was very protected and we had no problems, we even braved the muddy waters and went swimming.
We left the next afternoon for Cartagena but minutes after leaving the safety of the (non) marina we have a problem with the alternator, we get it sorted and carry on our way.
