Ep31 To Ayamonte To Cadiz
Ep 31 We leave Portimao and a have a relaxing trip along the south coast of Portugal to the town of Ayamonte, with us right on the border we anchor for the night on the Spanish side of the river with 2.5m of water under the boat and a mud and sand sea bottom we are tucked in for a safe good nights rest.
The next day we are up early for a sail across the bay to Cadiz we make good time and are straight in to the marina. We can't get in contact with the marina as we approach, so we just take a guess at where they would want us and moor up to a pontoon with boats of the same size but when we go to marina office to check in they ask us to move to a pontoon further in the marina so it is straight back to the boat and move her to the new berth.
After a good rest we go and explore Cadiz, Which is a very old city with lots of history it was a shame that the marina was so far way from the city because we would love to have stayed and explored more but we decided to move on and save time for another place.
The next day we leave for Barbate.
