[Ep 54] A Simple & Cheap Upgrade & Catching Dinner | San Francisquito in Baja, Mexico
It started as a simple idea… fix the speargun with what we've got onboard and see if it actually worked.
In this episode of SmoCo Sailing, we spend our final days in San Francisquito, one of the most remote and beautiful anchorages in the Sea of Cortez.
After a failed dive (off camera) that left his speargun damaged, Armand comes up with a new plan, and puts it to the test. What follows turns into fresh-caught dinner, an unexpected pelican encounter, and a few more quiet days settling into life at anchor.
We take on a couple small projects around Cosmo, like installing hydrofoils on our Yamaha outboard (which we cannot recommend more to any cruiser out there), enjoy some time on our favorite white sand beach, and make the most of our last days before heading further north.
