The twin keels from Lammhults Gjuteri pleased and inspired me to do a bronze rudder.
They will be a bit more heavy than I like but other good properties outweigh that minor disadvantage.
When the boat take the ground the rudder will also touch the ground. Same as with the keels. The bronze is antifouling and wear resistant so no worry. The rudder axis will be G-11 epoxylaminate diameter 70 mm with big wall thickness. Excactly how my supplier is finding out.
