We leave the boat for a few days and take the boys on a road trip through Ancient Greece — from Olympia, where the Olympic Games began, to Ancient Messene, Sparta, and the ruins of Mystras.
This episode is about worldschooling in the real world: walking through temples, stadiums, theatres, old city walls, and mountain fortresses instead of just reading about them. It’s one of the reasons we chose this life — to let history, geography, and culture become part of everyday learning.
From the birthplace of the Olympics to the legends of Sparta and the Byzantine city of Mystras, this is a journey through some of the most important places in Greek history.
