Now I have glued 8 wedges on each hatch bringing the octagon to hexadecagon.
This is on the inside.
The outer side will rounded to approximate a circel.
The main reason for the wedges is to make the thermal bridge longer. Condensation on a small boat without heating is a problem.
The air temperature south of Cape Horn is if I remember about 5 degrees.
It may take me 90 days from the Falkland Islands to Chile.
Therefore I like to get the conditions of the boat as favorable as possible.
