After 80 days of a crazy race around the globe, facing unbridled elements and pushing its limits, Sam Davies crossed the finish line at the Sabb dlonn.
But beyond sporting performance, it is a human and solidarity victory: 106 children saved through this adventure. A figure that makes sense every mile travelled and every wave Sam battered.

In the Multihull Battle in the Royal Ocean Racing Club Transatlantic Race Oran Nataf’s, Pulsar 50, Rayon Vert, (France) crossed the finish line outside Camper and Nicholsons, Port Louis Marina Grenada, to be the first multihull to finish the 2025 Transatlantic Race.
“I am very proud to be the skipper of this boat with a great crew, ” commented Oran Nataf.
The first iQFOiL International Games of the season has come to an exciting close in Marina Rubicón Lanzarote, after five days of intense racing featuring the world’s best iQFOiL athletes. With strong winds, shifting conditions, and a new Medal Series format, the racing kept everybody on the edge of their seats until the very end. Johan Søe, of Denmark, delivered a stellar performance, while Brit, Emma Wilson, 2024 Olympic bronze medalist, proved unstoppable throughout the week.
The 54th edition of the Trofeo Princesa Sofia Mallorca will be the starting signal for the race for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028. The first qualifying event for the 2025 Sailing Grand Slam will muster all ten sailing disciplines of the new Olympic cycle in the Bay of Palma from March 28 to April 5.
The Australian 18 Footers League celebrated its 90th Anniversary and the past weekend with three days of action-packed racing over Sydney Harbour – from east of the Sydney Opera House to Middle Harbour in the north.
The annual Super Sprint Series, for the Balmain Cup, got the activities under was on Friday evening with three short races, sailed over windward-return courses.
Australian and Giltinan champion teams in Finport Finance, Rag and Famish Hotel, and Yandoo, won the three races, but it was the excellent consistency over the three races which gave the Lazarus Capital Partners team, of Tom Cunich, Josh Feldmann and Paddy Bannon overall victory.
