The 44 Cup is in Portugal which is a favourite venue for their races. This is how it worked on Day One.
The Imoca’s were racing from France, round the Fastnet Rock of Ireland, and back to France. It was a solo Race, the Guyader Bermudes 1,000. It’s a build up race for the next Vendee Globe.
