The Olympics start today in Japan and World Sailing Previews two of the most anticipated classes, the Mens’ FINN and the Womens’ RS:X.
This sadly is the last Olympics for the Finn. We will miss them as the “heavyweights” of the sport of Sailing come from this class. They will be missed. (Ainslie, Coutts, Bertrand all came from this class)
Thomas Colville has qualified his Maxi Trimaran SODEBO for the double handed Transat Jacques Vabre.
Pip Hare (GBR) had such a good Vendee Globe that she bought the foiler Bureau Vallee and under her sponsor Medallia she is getting it read for the next “go-around.”
