Lauriane Nolot (France) and Max Maeder (Singapore) survived a dramatic day of strong winds to become the female and male winners of the 2022 Lepanto Formula Kite European Championships in Nafpaktos Greece. Because Maeder is from Singapore, second-placed Toni Vodisek (Slovakia) is the highest placed European finisher in the competition and becomes European Champion.

The annual Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race is one of the toughest tests of sailing ability and the 77th edition was no exception. The race has an international repute that transcends sailing’s perceived boundaries and once again attracted a clutch of top class international entrants, along with competitors from all corners of Australia, all keen to test themselves.

The 14th edition of Ocean Race for crewed yachts starts in Alicante Spain on Sunday January 15th. It will be different to others as the 11 yachts make up two classes of yachts. 6 VO65’s and 5 IMOCA 60 foilers. The IMOCAs will go the full distance and the older 65’s will do specific legs only.
