Winded Voyage 4 | Episode 7 | The Shipwrecks Of Mindelo Bay
There are several shipwrecks in Mindelo Bay. One is partially submerged so we tied our dinghy on to it and explored the wreck top and bottom. But before we set to explore Mindelo Bay, one morning I wake up and everything is turned around. I have to do something about it. As well we give Galopin an underwater shave. He started to look like a hobo.

Earns his Swiss offshore sailing license and refits his boat. Then sails alone from the south of France along the Spanish coast to Tangiers Morocco. On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.
