An older dude who feels 30 sails the world on a small yacht and tells his live large adventures. Follow him from the beginning when he looks for a sailboat and buys it. Earns his Swiss offshore sailing license and refits his boat. Then sails alone from the south of France along the Spanish coast to Tangiers Morocco. On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.

Being out in the middle of the ocean is a very lonely place, and being in the middle of the city is quite the opposite. Nat and I are with a few very special people in Praia. Namely Manu, a Cape Verdean native who lives in Marseille France, and in Praia. He shows us his amazing house he has built and some of his city. We also meet Bruno the Butcher, another Frenchman who’s settled in the city. And as well we see a little more of Tarrafal and some of its residents. And then it’s time to sail back into the ocean, just me Nat and our thoughts.
