An older dude who feels 30 sails the world on a small yacht and tells his live large adventures. Follow him from the beginning when he looks for a sailboat and buys it. Earns his Swiss offshore sailing license and refits his boat. Then sails alone from the south of France along the Spanish coast to Tangiers Morocco. On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.

The star attractions of the island are its beaches. We land the dinghy and explore the beach at the southern most point of the island. Made of angel blond sand and turquoise water, the beach stretches out endlessly. Plus there is hardly anyone around. Nat takes advantage of this golden spot and lets her inner child out. She’s a sand angel on an endless beach. We hotel crash and beach bar hop. Take on a dinghy hitchhiker and continue on circumnavigation of the island. We stop at yet another unlisted anchorage. We’re totally alone, It’s calm and spectacular. We’re more than 3/4 of the way round.
