This is a very musical episode, as I’m joined by my Latin American friends who jut love to sing and dance. La Isla Bonita Love Festival is happening at Marina Tazacorte. Right in the marina! And many of us cruisers and local sailors take full advantage of it. Friends come by to the boat for a pre-party before we going to the concert. And a few days later we go for a day sail to celebrate Gretter’s birthday with constant singing and dancing in bathing suits on Galopin.

On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.
