An older dude who feels 30 sails the world on a small yacht and tells his live large adventures. Follow him from the beginning when he looks for a sailboat and buys it. Earns his Swiss offshore sailing license and refits his boat. Then sails alone from the south of France along the Spanish coast to Tangiers Morocco. On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.

Work, work, work. After a quick stint in Switzerland to do a paying gig, I board a train to my dear Galopin to do more work. And thanks to Neptune, I’m working with one of the best boat pros in the area. As far as I’m concerned, Daniel is probably the best in the world. Certainly in my world. His attention to details is almost scary. He’s refitting Galopin to last and to deal with most worst case scenarios. He’s like a boating fortune teller. Dan is the Man, and he just does it right.
