We’re anchored in the fishing village called Elinkine. We’ve been busy the past few days attending local festivities, so we decided to stay on the boat and make food. First we had to go shopping in town and then Mana put her chef’s hat on. She wears it well and her food is delicious. I was out of cash, and the closest cash machine was in Cap Skirring, the popular tourist destination. Djibril, our trusty chauffeur took us there. I got cash and let Mana take me to the artisan market where I could buy her something nice. Then we went to the beach. Cap Skirring is famous for its stunning beach. And there were the local beauties sun bathing. Cows. Yes several cows hanging out nude whith no bikinis on. Quite a sight.

Earns his Swiss offshore sailing license and refits his boat. Then sails alone from the south of France along the Spanish coast to Tangiers Morocco. On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.
