Then we take on the ocean canal between the islands of Sao Vicente and Santa Antao. The ocean there is horribly mean, but we forge on so we can get to the Sao Jao festival. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin.
