After Gilson successfully changed my Cutlass bearing, we had to go and test drive Galopin. But before all that, we saved a boat from drifting. Organized a going away party for Peter. Cast off Peter and Ayrton on their journey across the Atlantic to Nova Scotia. Did a satisfying boat project and set off sailing. It was me and Peixe. As well as his sister Jussara and his girlfriend Jessica. It was a rough and windy outing with winds in the 30kts.

He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.
