It’s time I leave Cape Verde and make my way back to Switzerland to hopefully get hip surgery. Since I cant walk properly, I sign up for assistance for the handicapped online and get special treatment. On the way I’m flying by the erupting volcano on La Palma Island in The Canaries. I start thinking of my friends on the island on fire. Back in Switzerland I see my beloved family and go immediately to the hospital. Sailing Galopin in Cabo Verde Africa.

He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.
