Is it OK to sail and drink? On my boat it is. We set sail for the island of Sal 130nm miles away in fantastic sailing conditions with a crew of three on a Jeanneau SunFizz 40. A Frenchman and sailing teacher, beautiful Wendy and myself, captain of the sailboat. Once the sails were adjusted and the boat straight on course, we celebrated being just the three of us on the ocean. In particular us two men quickly became drunken sailors, while Wendy remained a calm and sober lady.
