Big news: my new sails arrived and I mounted them this week. They look great and I can’t wait to take KARL out…but before that I planned to take the boat out of the water to check the bottom, renew antifouling and change to the new depthsounder, which has a wider diameter than the old one.
And sometimes it seams that there is always something going wrong with KARL. Three bolts of one of the engine mounts broke and are now stuck inside the engine…and: the haulout did not work out in Panamarina because the trailer could not work KARL’s twinkeels :(. Well, back to Shelter Bay it is, I guess.
