BROKEN BONES on a SAILBOAT in remote islands Los Roques – UNTIE THE LINES IV #72

The islands of Los Roques are known to be a great spot for kite surfing due to their steady winds often around 20+ knots. Our charter guests André and Manu as well as boat owner Micha were totally hooked and had finally talked me into getting on a board myself. It lasted three days…and then the fun was over for me, I hit my foot on the ground and was not able to walk anymore.

Since our charter guests still had a full week ahead of them, I decided to wait until we got back to Curacao to see a doctor. And maybe that was a good thing to do, since the news he had for me were not very great.

But see for yourself!

Enjoy & Ahoy,
