BOAT LIFE - Racing Yachts, Epic Sailing and Island Hopping
Join us aboard our 38ft liveaboard catamaran Rúna as we sail from the southern coast of Mallorca to the rugged shores of Menorca — with a week full of epic sailing, coastal exploring, and a few unexpected challenges!
We kick off our 4-day passage around Mallorca with strong headwinds and a not-so-serious yacht race before discovering Cala d’Or, the perfect anchorage for sunset swims and diving competitions (spoiler: Ruth needs to work on her form!). From there, we continue towards Pollença, chasing the wind while balancing life on board and remote work.
But this video isn’t just about sailing — it’s about discovering the beautiful towns of the Balearics! We cycle the famous mountain roads of Pollenca, explore the historic walled town of Alcudia, discover charming Port de Sóller, and finally sail to Menorca, where we find the most beautiful marina we’ve ever seen in Ciutadella.
Of course, boat life isn’t complete without a bit of chaos. A strong weather system rolls in and a monohull breaks its windlass in 30 knots. We finish our journey in Port Addaia, one of Menorca’s most picturesque hidden gems — and the perfect place to wrap up a wild week.
