Welcome to The Foster Journey! Family sails from Texas to US East Coast to Bahamas (Intro Video)
It’s been a while since we updated our introduction video, and with all the new faces around here, we thought a re-introduction might be helpful. 😁 We’re the Fosters (Matt, Nancy, Olivia, and Mocha) and Cadence is our home, a 39-foot sailboat. Here’s a bit about us you might not know.
We:
1️⃣ Started our sailboat journey back in 2020, and haven’t turned back.
2️⃣ Both previous public school teachers, so no, we’re not wealthy, LOL. FAR from it- we find riches in our experiences and the people we meet.
3️⃣ Had no prior sailing experience, but we documented the entire learning process for you here on YouTube! 😜
4️⃣ Think we can sail around the world, but Olivia wants to go to Europe as our first cross-ocean destination.
5️⃣ Work online to pay for our travels and our video making.
6️⃣ Hope you will join us in our weekly episodes!!!

Hi! We're a family of 3, working and cruising full-time. We sold our suburban life in 2020, sailed the US East Coast from Texas, and just wrapped up in the Bahamas.
