We have arrived inDurban, South Africa, docking at Point Marina & yacht club – a secure haven in the heart of the city. While Durban’s downtown has seen better days, and exploring on foot is strongly discouraged due to safety concerns, the marina itself is alive with the energy of cruising families all waiting for the perfect weather window to tackle South Africa’s Wild Coast. But before we set off again – Our eldest two sons have rejoined the boat! We are celebrating a long awaited family reunion alongside the incredible sailing community. Join us as we soak up the cruising camaraderie, prepare for the challenging passage south, and most importantly -cherish the joy of having the whole crew back together again!
