BLUE MARLIN SHADOWED US ON 1800 MILE ATLANTIC CROSSING TO BRAZIL

BLUE MARLIN SHADOWED US ON 1800 MILE ATLANTIC CROSSING TO BRAZIL

From one of the worlds most remote inhabited islands to the endless blue of the South Atlantic, this episode takes you from or final adventures on St Helena to the start of our 3000 mile blue water passage to Brazil.
With just days left on the island, we take on the famous Jacob’e ladder, (699 steps of leg burning glory), scuba dive the crystal clear waters, and welcome new crew aboard to the journey ahead.
But 16 hours after setting sail, we witness something extraordinary, a powerful 3 metre blue marlin relentlessly chasing a shoal of fish that had taken refuge alongside our boat. For over half an hour, we were front row spectators to one of nature’s most thrilling hunts.
From island charm to ocean to ocean drama, this episode captures why we love this life at sea.
