But just as we reach safe harbour in Hout Bay, life throws us a surprise: Rob, our captain, is called back to New Zealand, out of the blue, as a keynote speaker… and ends up just hours from our son Finn, competing in the national rowing championships.
After months at sea, we’re reminded that the most powerful journeys don’t always happen under sail.
