Training Harder for 57 Adventures

Michael and Melissa from The Adventure Travelers YouTube channel are preparing themselves intensely for their next challenge – the 57 Adventures in 57 hours in San Diego. To train, they’ve been hiking daily, covering an average of 3.5 to 5 miles each day.

Crazy Encounters While Hiking

As they were preparing for this journey, the dynamic duo started wondering about other wild and strange experiences that they or others have had while hiking. During their conversation, Michael mentioned:

what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever seen while hiking

and Melissa responded with two interesting experiences of her own. The first one involved a hiker who had dreadlocks filled with ants, and the other was about seeing someone with a snow-white leg after winter. Both instances seem truly unusual.

The 57 Adventures Challenge

With great enthusiasm and motivation, Michael and Melissa are now training even harder for their upcoming adventure. The idea behind the 57 Adventures is to undertake 57 different outdoor activities within a total time span of just 57 hours in San Diego.

An Unforgettable Journey

This upcoming journey promises not only excitement but also a plethora of fascinating encounters and experiences that could range from the serene beauty of nature to unexpectedly weird events like those described by Michael and Melissa.

This is a Southern Pacific rattlesnake. Not to be confused with a Mojave green rattlesnake. Do you think I’m too close to this snake?Comment below 🐍

If you’re out hiking and you stumble upon a Blainesville‘s horned lizard like this one, just enjoy it from afar. I am experienced naturalist and I know how to handle them.
