Sailing across the Pacific Ocean from Puerto Vallarta to Nuku Hiva is no easy task. Lots of preparation went into this ocean-going cruise.

Sure, we are not Sailing Delos or Sailing LaVegabonde but we are more Gone with the Wynns since we sail and RV around the world.

In this sailing adventure, we sail over 2,800 nautical miles in just 24 days. That’s pretty fast for an Island Packet Sailboat. We cross the equator and go from slimy Pollywogs to full-fledged Trusted Shellbacks!

On our sailing adventure, we will show you sailing through the doldrums or the ITCZ (InterTropical Convergence Zone), cooking at sea and making healthy meals, overcoming boredom at sea, and a lot of other great cruising videos.

We were part of the Latitude 38 Pacific Puddle Jump crossing and we were actually the last boat to leave Mexico on April 15.

We find a lost life raft at sea (or so we thought) and notify the U.S. Coast Guard. See the whole story on our blog (link below).

We hope you enjoy our sailing adventure. We did.

This is a Southern Pacific rattlesnake. Not to be confused with a Mojave green rattlesnake. Do you think I’m too close to this snake?Comment below 🐍

If you’re out hiking and you stumble upon a Blainesville‘s horned lizard like this one, just enjoy it from afar. I am experienced naturalist and I know how to handle them.
