Have you ever had a dream to travel the world but were stuck in a job, a house payment, monthly bills, and commitment?
If it is YES, then we have done so. After 10 years of marriage, we began to be free from everything that stopped us from traveling and to simplify our lives. This is our story. This is our story. We made a solid plan once we decided to live our dream. We sold it all, stopped our business, purchased a sailboat, and sailed into the sunset.
Some of our plans to travel included keeping our timeshares in use. Timeshare served our needs once, but sadly, it no longer serves us to have a timeshare. To be a traveler in the world means to spend less, have no debt, and get rid of anything that prevents us from having freedom. Travel has changed too and it has made us feel secure from our lifestyle for adventure with the possibility to use platforms like Airbnb and VBRO.
Hanging on to the ancient timeshare dinosaur kept us from our adventure lifestyle. After planning a much-needed family holiday, we realized we needed to cancel the timeshares and be FREE to travel where and when we wanted for less money.
