Hiking Colorado’s Box Canyon & Ridgway

In Episode 5 of our Southwestern RV Road Trip, we visit the town of Ouray, Colorado and hike to the Box Canyon Park which has great views of a waterfall, stream and a nice little hiking trail up to the bridge at the top. At this overlook, you can continue on through the cave to do even more hiking. We had a blast at this place for only $5, which includes a cool little museum.

We also hike in the Colorado State Park of Ridgway. The temperatures drop to 19 degrees at night and we have to unhook from the water supply due to freezing pipes.

Next, we venture off to Gunnison National Park to hike the almost vertical Black Canyon of the Gunnison Route Trail. SUBSCRIBE to our Channel and don’t miss out!

I always check the water before you put it in your drinking container. These horse hair worms were in the water and they looked freaky. Always boil your water to get rid of all contaminants when in the back country. #hiking #hike #cave
