Transfering water from jerrycan to bottle with no spilling even in stormy weather.
This is the method I use to transfer water from jerrycan to bottle.
I will have 12 or maybe 18 green nomally 5 lite jerrycans. The same type NM-epoxy use for the resin. The are of good quality approved for dangerous goods.
To transfereing the water without spilling I made a little gadget. I made an other little gadget to open and close the cap.
It works well.
A few subscribers have suggested I use square bottles to gain space. Space is not my concern. Weight is. Rond bottles are nice to hold. The main quantity of the water is in jerrycans not round and low down.

Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980.
