Doing some volyme calculations on the bilge keels I realised that there can be a lot of low weight in them.
That will increase stabilite a lot.
I also realised that with bilge keels the mowing ballast was now less important.
To keep things simple I am eliminating the mowing ballast.
These keels might be called twin keels or bilge keels.
I think in my case bilge keels is more proper as thier function is to provide stability and enable Exlex to take the ground more safely.
They are only 0.18 meter deep but 1.5 meter long so very low aspect ratio.
Twin keels I think are more for also provide better efficient windward sailing.
This boat have the combination of a bow centerboard and bilge keels.
The idea is that the bow centerboard will provide the efficient lateral area, the bilge keels stability and ability to take the ground.
