Not much to show today. Getting the rim even and a few other things. Nothing new.
Today I have mainly been slowly working to get the rim of the hatch even. I have measured and decided to cut 10 mm of. Then I scribed it and cut it with my jigsaw using a carbon abrasive blad. Important is if you err, err outwards otherwise there will be a lott of grinding to get it even.
Grinding I did putting the wide sandpaper on my steel table.
Finally I gave the edge a little radius to be kind to the gasket.
For the accomodation I have an Idea of locker lids were the locking mechanism is not protuding. I will make a mock up. Slowly I am making the parts.

Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980.
