The video is shaky and unclear. But here it is.
I was not content with the lid for the stovage. I am now working on a third version. Lid 8 cm wide 5 mm thick made of Tufnol fastened with two M6 countersunk screws.
To see how strong it was I took a 5 cm strip fastened it to a wooden beam with two scruvs an loaded it with 14 kilo lead weights. I kept adding weights, more and more. Finally with 126 kilos hanging it brook after maybee 10 minutes.
This is not all. The space available is resticted. I have been doing bed-mock up as well. There will not be enough space at the sidelocker with a 90 cm wide bed. The matress have to be cut down to 80 cm. It will cost money by the canwas worker, but it is an important decision. If it have to be done so it have to.
I am preparing a new lid-mock up for tomorrow.

Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980.
