Lammhults gjuteri Delivering the pattern of the bronze keels. Important day. Casting soon.
Today an other worthwhile drive. Håkan lent me his van and with the old bronze keels to be recycled and the pattern I have driven to Lammhults Gjuteri in Lammhult not far from Växsjö Småland.
I was shown around seeing a lot of patterns. Most of the production is for pumps but also for huge bollards and art of different kind.
It is a family company with father mother son doughter and other persons all very scilled.
I am happy that Sweden still have these good people.
In about two weeks time the products will be done maybee to my birthsday 22 of April when a get 83 years old.

Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980.
