Peter wife have been baking a cake for me. The reason: I have been begging for a cake.
I am running out of money because due to corona I have had no work for more than two years (except for one single video that did not pay much) and no one buys my books anymore. They are all in Swedish and out of print. So now I am begging for money.
Still progress is being done on the canoe cruiser. Today I can show where to stove the charts the computer and my belowed note pads with 5 mm squares that I have made so many drawing of boats and calculations for the last 70 years since I got my first slide rule and then from 1976 when I got my first calculator.
So please donate to my project that I may continue to build, to sail and post more viedeos from a small enviromental friendly boat.

Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980. I have continued to design, build, and cruise small boats often in high latitudes. Please support me on my donation button on my site yrvind.com
