Grid scored Divinycel I use to take of the shape of the hull to use as a flange for the keels
Diab makes grid scored Divinycell. It is Divinycell sheets cut into tiny squares glued toa matt. They can thuse bend into 3-dimensions. If you lay them on the hull and apply epoxy that will freese them into position. That done you have the shape of the hull.
That done I can glue the pattern using the grid scored Divinycell as flange.
Here I have taken of the hull in the center. The shape will be a bit different port and starboard for the twin keels. That difference will be overcome by grinding and thickend epoxy.
More work have been done on the pattern. Progress is satisfying.

Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980.
