Today I again try to explain why I do not make the bulkhead hatches so they can close from the inside. It is a complication, I like to keep things simple. Some people say that will be good if the hull gets penetrated. But in my world the hull of Exlex will never get penetrated. How can I be so sure of that. Several reasons. Exlex is way more strong than even a big boat. She has a Divinycell core 70 mm thick. 60 feet long boats use 20 mm seldom more. Alsos she have her inner laminate of 600 gram carbon fibre. That also makes her hull very strong as I show with the test samples. It is important to have the carbon on the inside.
Then in general small things are much stronger than big ones to global forces as Galoleo found out, the square cube law, a low that governs all structure. To design without it is not good engenering but most engeniers live in their bubble and consider only big boat. They do not understand that a small boat becmes differnt structurally because of size. I took the example of balloning spiders as an example. A spider can fly hundreds of kilometer by a tread they spin out. Humans are different we had to invent airplanes.
