A go through again with the help of Peter and the stick problem.

I was pretty sure that the screw solution was the one to chose. However I woke up in the night with one more idea. Hopefully tomorrow I will know if it works.
Sure it is best to do without the screwdriver, but if I can keep track and handle an eating spoon I can do the same with a screwdriver. There is also a problem with the stick due to interference with the deck. Many have suggested strong magnets. There is the compass to think of. In a small boat there is no big distances. The inside beam is 1.26 at the widest. There will be 12 lids spread out in the living area. If strong magnets where to be used my navigation will suffer.
There is always one more way to solve a problem so hopefully the experiment works well.
This little introduction. Do anyone read it or shall I skip it?
