Hello friends! Today is a significant day for us as we move forward with our latest boat project. This time around, I’m joined by my friend Sven Yrvind, who will be walking us through the testing of a crucial component – the hatch in the aft bulkhead.
The heart of today’s experiment revolves around a freshly made hatch meant to occupy the aft bulkhead space. This hatch not only adds functionality to our vessel but also promises an aesthetic appeal that enhances its overall design.
The moment of truth arrives as Sven proceeds to test the new hatch in place. As it fits securely into its designated position, we observe the alignment and ensure there are no leaks or compromises on our vessel’s structural integrity.
With the hatch now in place, we take a closer look at the dimensions of our aft bulkhead. Interestingly enough, it offers more space than initially anticipated.
Sven takes this opportunity to elaborate on the internal layout. Notably, the kitchen spans 1 meter in length, while the sleeping area extends over 1.8 meters, providing ample space for both storage and comfort.
We move onto the next section of the bulwark. This additional part is integral to maintaining our boat’s overall strength and water-tightness.
The design of the vessel is carefully thought out, offering additional storage options in both the bow and aft regions. This level of versatility enhances our vessel’s capability, catering to all sorts of boating adventures.
To ensure we meet every safety and structural standard, our team performs a thorough inspection. The focus remains on making adjustments where necessary to guarantee the seaworthiness of our vessel.
The final phase of today’s process involves reinforcing our boat against any possible penetration from external forces. Here, Sven underscores the importance of a strong build.
Today marks an essential milestone in our boat-building journey. With each component passing its test with flying colors, we look forward to the days ahead as we finalize every aspect of this incredible project.
