Toaday we celebrate that the number of subscriber on my Youtube channel have reached 15 000.
We celebrate, not to be confused with celibate, with two cakes, being thrifty I got them secound hand. The price was reduced because the cakes were from the day before.
The idea came from Borka one of my landlords.
He said ” Yrvind your channel is growing all the time when it reaches 15 000 its time for a party”
I never imagined that day would happen when so many people were interested in building a small cruiser and not much dramatic happens except me killing a darling now and then.
There is about 10 – 20 people in the house. Most of them are thier own bosses with small copanys.
It has become a tradition to give a cake when they have a birthday.
It was Borka the icehockey player that had the idea that 15 000 subscribers also was a cause to celebrate.

Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980.
