Hello friends! This is Sven Yrvind, and welcome to my channel dedicated to charting new paths in boat building. Today, we will embark on an incredible journey as I showcase some remarkable progress on my latest boat build project for July 2024.

The Artistry Behind the Design
Imagine having everything at your fingertips while you’re out exploring uncharted territories. With this new design feature, I’ve managed to create a bed that can easily convert into a seating area – a true testament to my dedication and love for the sea.

The iPad holder, notepad station, and other essentials have been thoughtfully placed in strategic locations to ensure that I can effortlessly navigate my surroundings while remaining focused on the task at hand – sailing towards a horizon filled with endless possibilities.

This Youtube channel is about me Sven Yrvind an 85 year and two months old dyslectic solo sailor building OCEANIC PHILOSOPHER a 5.7 meter long, 1.2 meter beam four masted lugger 6 square meter sail area, twin keeled, ocean going, high latitude cruiser. Often the 22 every month I do a resume of the project.

Sven Yrvind
Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980. I have continued to design, build, and cruise small boats often in high latitudes. Please support me on my donation button on my site yrvind.com
