Good news. A book of mine is now in Russian language. Only the many pictures is understandable.
I think it is a good thing that my ideas about small simple boats is being spread wide in the big world.
It helps people to sail the deep blue endless eternal sea. That is peaceful, something that is needed in or world. A small boat right concieved is much safer and much better for nature and ffor the ones that sails it.
There is a picture of the sender, Maybe the can sell you a copy. I know wery little about it so do not ask me.

Sven Yrvind
Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980. I have continued to design, build, and cruise small boats often in high latitudes. Please support me on my donation button on my site yrvind.com
