This project started with Eli and Russ who built a working prototype with wheels. It worked fine but it had a lot of moving parts so we kept the winch and pulley and replaced the wheels with UHMW bushings on a stainless steel rails. We were concerned about the friction, but it’s working great so far and we’ve not even waxed rails. This is a perfect example of what I love about Seeker. Lots of people on FaceBook and YouTube pitching in ideas, a dozen people putting there hands on it, all with various levels of fabrication skills, but all working together, laughing, sharing and learning. And a success we can all take pride in. People are good, Life is good, and Seeker crew are the best!
