Instead it has proven to continue to be our biggest challenge and the challenges don’t seem to be getting any easier.
Now that we have all the water bailed out, it’s time to dig into the heart of the boat, our 110hp Yammer Turbo Diesel engine. If any of you are familiar with Yammer Diesel engines, we have a 4JH4-HTE and it is a little more complicated than what either of us are used to with the Turbo.
We’ve already diagnosed that we need our transmission rebuilt, and after starting general maintenance on the engine, things are not looking good…
We have just over a week till we have to be at the boat yard to get hauled out, which we desperately need, and we’ve also just realized, that there is a huge chance we may also need to REBUILD OUR ENGINE!!!
