[Ep 15] Escaped the Marina & Sailed to Coronado Island | A Charming Getaway From San Diego
After being stuck in the marina finishing our Tower in a Box solar arch install, we finally leave Shelter Island in San Diego and sail over to the Coronado Island anchorage for some well-earned rest.
We explore the area, paddle to Coronado Brewing Co., do a round of laundry and provisioning (classic boat life), and soak in some rare peace and quiet on anchor.
But of course, the boat wasn’t done with us just yet…
The missing parts for our Tender Handler davits finally arrive, which means one more return to Shelter Island Marina to hopefully finish what we started weeks ago.
From projects to paddle beers, this episode is a little bit of everything we love about cruising life.
