Demolition Derby on Our Sailboat & Anchoring in a Billionaire's Backyard | San Juanico | Ep 74

📍 San Juanico, Baja California Sur 🌊 Sea of Cortez, Mexico

From pristine spearfishing to boat demolition and getting lectured by beach RVers in a Walmart heiress’s bay! ⛵

We started our week expecting an overnight stop at Punta Púlpito, but the water was so impossibly clear we couldn't resist staying to snorkel and spearfish. But reality caught up with us, and we finally accepted the truth: our built-in fridge was dead. Armand began the scary task of demolishing the existing fridge box while we sourced a replacement distributor in Mexico.

Next, we sailed to the stunning anchorage of San Juanico: a bay surrounded by private land owned by the Walton (Walmart) family. Between hauling in massive groupers (and almost losing a spear stuck deep under a rock!), we headed to the beach for a local RV happy hour, only to get an unexpected lecture about destroying the environment and why we weren't welcome in the bay.
Despite the drama, we explored the surrounding hills, found a hidden goat farm, and finally secured a logistics company to deliver our new fridge to La Paz!

Thanks for sailing along with us. If you're enjoying the journey, don't forget to subscribe—we're just getting started.
